We’re proud to share that STEM Sports® has been named a 2026 Best of STEM Award winner, recognizing our innovative approach to hands-on STEM education.
For us, this award validates a simple idea that has driven STEM Sports from the beginning: students learn differently when learning connects to something they already love.
We’re honored by the recognition, but even more excited about what it represents for the educators, schools, partners, and students who bring STEM Sports® to life every day.
Award-winning STEM. Vetted by educators. Powered by sports. Built for students.
Content for a minimum of 16 hours of instruction that includes some healthy, physical activity.
Each curriculum has eight lessons aligned with Common Core, NGSS and Shape America.
Turnkey kits come equipped with all of the relevant sports equipment along with the necessary science supplies.
Through our 5E lesson plans, students will develop 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, creative problem solving, and leadership.
Each module has a list of STEM-based, sport-related jobs pertinent to the lesson concept.
Differentiation: lessons for K-2, 3rd to 5th, 6th to 8th, & K to 12 grades (for SPED). “Capstone” Project (6th to 8th grade) to commensurate student’s knowledge of each curriculum.
🏈 Football is Back. So is the Science.
College football is underway. The NFL is kicking off. And classrooms everywhere can bring the excitement of football into STEM learning with STEM Football®.
Students don’t just watch the game. They explore the STEM behind the game through hands-on activities (including football gloves!) connected to the sport they already know and love.
From forces and motion to engineering, measurement, data, and more, STEM Football® turns the gridiron into a laboratory while building critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Hands-on. Standards-aligned. Turnkey. Everything educators need to get students moving, experimenting, and learning is included.
As football takes center stage this fall, it’s the perfect time to ask:
Why just watch football when your students can discover the STEM behind it?
Bring STEM Football® to your school or program today!
"Thank you for your commitment to creating transformative educational experiences. STEM Sports is providing students with the kind of exposure, inspiration, and opportunity that can truly shape their future trajectories, and I am grateful that my students had the chance to be a part of it."
